JOB VACANCY: DIGITAL CONTENT ASSISTANT – SURFING AUSTRALIA
An exciting full time employment opportunity has become available with the National Sporting Organisation (NSO), Surfing Australia. Based at the Surfing Australia head office in Coolangatta and reporting to the General Manager Communications & Digital Media, this junior digital content production role is vital to the overall success of the Surfing Australia digital content department. The Surfing Australia digital content department is responsible for delivering high quality content production to service the many events, programs and partners of Surfing Australia. The exciting role will include producing content for the SA ownedwww.mysurf.tv content platform.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated surf digital content producer that lives and breathes surfing and can hit the ground running to support our experienced content team.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (desirable):
- 2-3 years professional editing skills (Premiere Pro skills a must)
2-3 years in shooting water based surfing action with HD CAMERA/DSLR Setups
2-3 years experienced in shooting land-based surfing action with HD CAMERA/DSLR Setups
2-3 years working to strict deadlines and adhering to shoot brief supplied by client
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (desirable):
- Certificate/Diploma of Screen And Media (desirable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- produce/shoot and edit consistent short-form content to briefs supplied and to broadcast specs
produce motion graphics within After Effects 6
assist Digital Content Producers – 2nd angle/lighting/sound
Salary commensurate on experience.
