Soft-Top Shorebreak Chaos

 California’s shorebreaks have been firing, bringing with them a unique brand of funk. Steep gradients mean barrels, but only if you can deal with a slice of backwash and a sucking exit over near-dry sand.

Blair Conklin’s weapon of choice was a 5.0 Catch Surf Stump and under talented feet it ticks the novelty blast box.
